Discover Edgemont (North Vancouver)

Edgemont Village is a collection of about 100 shops and eateries in a sort of mountain resort style village with the looming Grouse Mountain as its backdrop. The Village has grown over the years to include multi-family residential properties like midrise condos and townhomes, but the majority of the neighbourhood remains single-family homes. Getting to Edgemont can be done through transit, or by exiting the nearby highway. The neighbourhood is still quite family-friendly and it boasts enough community amenities to keep residents content and entertained. 

It is still, however, close enough to the rest of North Vancouver to access everything the broader community has to offer. Plus this neighbourhood is close enough to Grouse Mountain to allow for the Grouse Grind to be a daily workout - weather permitting, of course.

Nearby Murdo Frazer Park features hiking trails, a pitch-and-putt, pickleball courts, tennis courts, duck pond and a playground. The park is also a famous filming location for television shows and movies, with its cabin being a tried-and-true set piece for productions like Netflix’s Virgin River.
