The Southlands neighbourhood, known for its flat landscape, is a great mix of farmland, single-family houses and greenspace. The combined area of Dunbar and Southlands provides 2.07 hectares of parkland per 1,000 persons. The area also provides a showcase of magnificent homes, beautifully landscaped and built. 

Enjoy the Southlands Outdoors

Outdoor recreation is not lacking in the neighbourhood of the Southlands. Most residents in the area live in close proximity to one of the many parks in the community. Southlands is also home to two of Vancouver's finest golf courses - the public McCleery Golf Course and Musquem Golf and Learning Academy and the private, Point Grey Golf and Country Club. If you enjoy all things horses, this may be the perfect neighbourhood for you. With a large equestrian population, you will often see people horseback riding down the streets. You will also be able to spot the around 300 horses that graze on more than 100 properties in the neighbourhood. If you want to learn to ride yourself, you can also visit the Southlands Riding Club.

To and From, Southlands

Southlands location makes it easy to travel to the downtown core as well to the rest of the lower mainland. With commute to downtown done mostly by vehicle, you are also able to get to Vancouver core by cycling. It is also in very close proximity to Richmond and YVR.
