Discover Olympic Village (Vancouver West)

This community was created within the boundaries of False Creek and Fairview to host the athletes and officials of the 2010 winter olympics. Now, this hotspot has been turned over into an urban core filled with residences, restaurants, bars, shops, grocery stores, and more.

This neighbourhood sits along the waterfront area of False Creek, where you can enjoy miles of seawall for runs, walks, bike rides, and any other activities you wish to enjoy. The Creek also provides a great place to enjoy water activities such as kayaking, canoeing, boat rides, etc. Some notable spots in Olympic Village include Science World, the CRAFT Beer Market, Hinge Park, and the many cafes, eateries and dessert spots. There are countless restaurants to check out in this area from breweries, to trendy eateries, to restaurants with universal offerings such as Mexican, Italian, Afghan, Vietnamese, Japanese and more. 

Many Transportation Options to Take you All Around the City

There are small ferries that provide simple and quick transportation down and across the False Creek to many other Vancouver neighbourhoods. Olympic Village also sits on a spot on the Canada Line Skytrain, to easily take you to the downtown area or all the way out to Richmond/Vancouver Airport.
