University VW is a gorgeous neighbourhood surrounded by the beauty of nature. Whether you are a lover of forests or beaches, in University VW you are just a short walk away from parks and stunning views of the ocean and mountains. Some notable  highlights include Jericho Beach, Wreck Beach as well as Pacific Spirit Regional Park. Of course the crown gem of this neighbourhood is the prestigious University of British Columbia. The university boasts more than 400 hectares of breathtaking campus, which is surrounded by forest on three sides and ocean on the fourth.

Schooling and Transportation

This area is about a 30 minute drive to Vancouvers downtown core and is well serviced by the transit system. The transportation options are going to become even more accessible when the Broadway Subway Project is completed, which connects to the 99 B-line to UBC. There is also a direct route to YVR from the University neighbourhood.
