The Pacific Centre is the major mall in Vancouver and is home to over 100 stores and services. Here you will find your typical brand name stores as well as many restaurants and entertainment. Right by the Pacific Centre mall is another shopping central, Robson Street. This is Vancouver’s most popular shopping street where you can find many options from large North American brands, to local fashion chains and unique gift stores.

From a fun-filled day to an exciting night out, Downtown Vancouver has countless entertainment options. Within Downtown Vancouver is the city’s major hub for concerta and events, Canada Place. Canada Place hosts two of Vancouver’s professional sports teams including the Vancouver Whitecaps, Professional soccer team in the MLS, and the BC Lions, professional football team in the CPL. Throughout the year, Canada Place also hosts numerous concerts and community events. Continuing into the night, Granville Street is the club/bar district located Downtown that brings many people out, especially on weekends.

Downtown Vancouver is in very close proximity to the sea wall, as well as, depending on the placement of surrounding buildings, beautiful views of the North Shore Mountains. You can enjoy beautiful walks through the city with views of both the city-scene of highrises, as well as the natural beauty of the mountains and sea surrounding. Living downtown also makes it very easy to explore the rest of Vancouver, being the hub for many transportation routes from buses to all Sky Train lines for seamless travel around Vancouver and the surrounding communities.
