Vancouver Westside saw an impressive month in sales for both attached and detached homes. Vancouver Westside condos and townhomes brought in a 44% sales ratio, with multiple neighbourhoods and price bands bringing in over a 90% sales ratio. Single Family homes in Vancouver West also had an increasingly successful month compared to January with a 19% sales ratio compared to 13%.

Top 3 Neighbourhoods by Sales Ratio, Condos and Townhomes

A number of Vancouver West neighbourhoods had a very successful month in sales. Mount Pleasant condos & townhomes claimed the top spot with an outstanding 133% sales ratio. However, this neighbourhood only performed in single digit metrics of 6 new listings and 8 sales. One neighbourhood to note that had an extremely high performance in all 3 categories was Kitsilano. Kitsilano condos and townhomes had a nearly perfect 98% sales ratio with 46 new listings and 45 sales. Quilchena condos and townhomes claimed the third highest sales ratio of Vancouver Westside with an 80% sales ratio from 10 new listings and 8 sales.

Other High Performing Neighbourhoods

Other high performing neighbourhoods include Dunbar, Fairview, False Creek, Shaughnessy and SW Marine. Fairview, Shaugnessy, and False Creek condos and townhomes collectively brought in 142 new listings and 76 sales for a 53% sales ratio. Dunbar and SW Marine condos & townhomes also had a fast-paced month with a 52% sales ratio (19 new listings and 10 sales).

Highest Performing Neighbourhoods by Sales Ratio for  Detached Homes

Although Vancouver West detached homes did not see as much action compared to condos and townhomes in regards to inventory this month, there were a number of neighbourhoods with impressive sales ratios. Kitsilano, Vancouver West homes accomplished a 65% sales ratio with 20 new listings and 13 sales. Fairview and Mount Pleasant homes also had a great month with a 42% sales ratio, bringing in 7 new listings and 3 sales.
