Despite the large annual increase in homes sold, the market is slowly starting to steady again after several hot months.

Homes in the beautiful Vancouver West area continue to be in high demand with steadily rising selling prices. This May 2021, single-family homes had an average sale price of $3,383,100, an 11.2% increase from last May. There were 340 detached homes listed on the MLS®, with 117 selling this May, resulting in a 34% selling ratio.

Townhomes in the Vancouver West area sold for an average price of $1,274,700, a 13.3% increase from last year. Homeowners were in high demand of townhomes in the Vancouver West area this past May, with 177 townhouses listed on the MLS® with 106 selling, resulting in a 60% selling ratio. Apartments had an average selling price of $836,100, a slight 4.3% increase from last year. There were 960 apartments listed with 513 selling resulting in a 53% selling ratio.
