The Most Popular Price Bands and Neighbourhoods in Richmond in May 2022

Single Family Homes sales in Richmond were Normal Paced but Prices Edged Higher

Houses in Richmond  experienced a slower market than Vancouver this month, settling in at a 15% sales ratio. These homes experienced an average of 12 days on market and a 107% average sales to list price ratio. Some price bands were more popular than others. The most popular price band was for houses in Richmond between $1.25M – $2.25M with a sales ratio of 22% and 45 homes sold. 

Terra Nova Selling the Fastest in Richmond

Terra Nova houses sold exceptionally well this month, bringing in a 100% sales ratio from 4 new listings and 4 sales. Stevenson North and Stevenson Village sold the next fastest at a 32% sales ratio from 41 new listings and 13 sales. Sea island and Riverdale also sold faster than the average with 38 new listings and 9 sales (24% sales ratio).

Condos and Townhomes in Richmond Sold Quicker than Detached Houses

Condos and townhomes in Richmond sold a bit faster than detached homes, producing a 35% total sales ratio. 2 bedroom condos and 2 bedroom townhomes sold the fastest, bringing in a 42% sales ratio from 310 new listings and 130 sales. The most popular price bands in Richmond were:

Garden City and Saunders condos and townhomes sold the fastest, generating a 133% sales ratio from 6 new listings and 8 sales. After that, Steveston South and Steveston Village sold at a 72% sales ratio from 25 new listings and 18 sales.
