Condo and townhome sales in Vancouver Eastside continued to perform extremely well. Average days on market maintained a speedy 8 days, same as the previous month. The Vancouver East condo and townhome market brought in a high-selling sales ratio of 75%. These attached homes had a total of 379 new listings and 283 sales.
Vancouver Eastside Neighbourhoods with High Sales
Multiple Vancouver Eastside neighbourhoods brought in a high quantity of listings and sales. Here are some with the highest sales:
- Mount Pleasant condos and townhomes had 63 new listings and 76 sales (121% sales ratio)
- Collingwood condos and townhomes had 85 new listings and 53 sales (60% sales ratio)
- Main, Knight and Fraser condos and townhomes had 29 new listings and 28 sales (97% ratio).
Condos and Townhomes Below $1.5M Bring in Lots of Attention
Anything priced below $1.5M for Vancouver East condos & townhomes brought in +50% sales ratios. $700k – $800K condo and townhouse listings hit the “sweet spot” for the month of March, collecting 38 new listings and 45 sales (118% sales ratio). Here are other fast selling price bands:
- $300K – $500K condos and townhomes had a 104% sales ratio (24 listings, 25 sales)
- $500K – $700K condos and townhomes had a 93% sales ratio (108 listings, 100 sales)
- $1M – $1.5M condos and townhomes had a 77% sales ratio (69 listings, 53 sales)
Single Family Homes
Single family homes in Vancouver also had a very successful month with a jump in sales compared to the previous month. Vancouver Eastside homes sold at a 40% sales ratio this month, up from 29% in February.
Most Active Neighbourhoods, Eastside Detached Home Sales
Homes in Fraser sold very fast this month with a 100% sales ratio. These single family homes brought in 15 new listings and 15 sales. Renfrew homes also saw a lot of action with 34 new listings and 30 sales, generating an 88% sales ratio. Strathcona and Mount Pleasant homes together brought in 10 new listings and 10 sales, generating a 100% sales ratio this month.
Highest Selling Price Ranges
Eastside Homes priced between $2M and $2.25M saw the most action this month with 52 new listings and 38 sales (73% sales ratio). $2.5M – $2.75M homes also sold very fast with 27 new listings and 19 sales (70% sales ratio). On the lower-end, Eastside homes priced $1M – $1.5M also sold well with 14 new listings and 9 sales (64% sales ratio).
