As the market slows down, there are still many areas in Vancouver that are producing lots of action in the real estate market. Here are the areas in Vancouver that are still very hot right now for condos and townhomes.

Vancouver Eastside Condos and Townhomes

Condo & townhome sales in Vancouver Eastside continued to decline as the market slowed down after recent interest rate hikes. Although the market is slowing, there are many neighbourhoods in the Eastside that are continuing to see high sales ratios.

Champlain Heights, Killarney, Hastings Sell at Over 100% Sales Ratios

Hastings condos & townhome sales had a great month, bringing in a 112% sales ratio from 17 new listings and 19 sales. Champlain Heights condos & townhomes sold very fast this month, producing a 109% sales ratio from 11 new listings and 12 sales. Killarney condos  & townhomes also sold very fast with a 125% sales ratio, but from a smaller inventory (4 new listings and 5 sales).

Most Active Price Bands in East Vancouver

Here are the best performing prices for condo and townhome listings in East Vancouver in May. $500k – $600k condos & townhomes in East Van hit the sweet spot this month, producing the highest sales ratio of 71%. These condos and townhomes brought in 56 new listings with 40 sales.

Downtown Vancouver Condos & Townhomes

Sales in Downtown Vancouver also continued to decline in May, bringing in a 25% total sales ratio. Downtown and Yaletown condos and townhomes sold the fastest in the area with 581 total new listings and 172 total sales (30% sales ratio). West End and Coal Harbour sold much slower, bringing in 329 new listings and 54 sales (16% sales ratio).

Vancouver Westside Condos and Townhomes

Condo and townhomes sales In Vancouver West also have slowed down, bringing in a total 35% sales ratio.

Kitsilano, Mount Pleasant and Fairview Bring in High Sales

Similar to previous months, Kitsilano and Fairview condos and townhomes sold the fastest. Kitsilano condos and townhomes sold at the highest pace in the area, bringing in an 81% sales ratio from 80 new listings and 65 sales. Fairview and Mount Pleasant condos and townhomes also performed very well, collectively bringin in 74 new listings and 56 sales (76% sales ratio).
