Growth in Inventory, Stagnant Sales From December<\/h4>\n

With the turn of the new year, January continued with the post-holiday trend, seeing a slight decline in sales ratio at 30% down from 33% in December. Although the market welcomed a 14% increase in inventory, this turned over into a trifling 2.5% increase in sales compared to December\u2019s numbers.<\/p>\n

West End Is Down, Yaletown is Up, From December Sales in Downtown Vancouver<\/h4>\n

The West End saw a heavy 30% drop in sales from December while its inventory grew nearly 40% in new offerings. Check out listings for sale in Vancouver’s West End ordered by low to high listing prices right now.<\/a> Yaletown garnered the largest growth in sales ratio of the four neighbourhoods from December to January with an\u00a0 increase from 26% to 39% respectively. As the new year begins, and the prospect of the end of this cold winter begins to approach, the Downtown Vancouver condo & townhome market begins to prepare with a consistent increase in inventory across all neighbourhoods.<\/p>\n
