Vancouver neighbourhoods where condos & townhomes moved the fastest

Both East Vancouver and Vancouver West showed a strong sellers market at 39% and 30% for attached homes in September 2021, but some neighbourhoods were exceptionally popular: 

• In East Vancouver, Hastings and Hastings Sunrise  have been the most popular neighbourhoods at a 75% sales ratio, with Champlain Heights trailing at 53%.

Most popular Vancouver neighbourhoods for detached houses

East Vancouver and Vancouver West overall had sales ratios of 30% and 12% for detached homes in September 2021, with some neighbourhoods being exceptionally active: 

• In East Vancouver, Fraserview and South Marine houses were sold at the highest ratio, 80% and 67% respectively.
• In Vancouver West, the most popular neighbourhoods were Kitsilano at 28% and Oakridge at 18%.

Neighbourhoods with the lowest sales ratios

Even the least popular neighbourhood in East Vancouver was popular (for condos and Townhouses) 

• East Vancouver’s condos were overall more popular than detached houses in the same region and more popular than that of Vancouver West. This is shown with the lowest sales ratio of condos being Strathcona at 25%, which is a relatively large sales ratio.

• Though condos were overall more popular than detached houses in Vancouver West, Cambie condos had the lowest sales ratio at 12%. 

Least popular neighbourhoods in Vancouver for detached houses

• In East Vancouver, Mount Pleasant was the least popular with a 13% sales ratio.
• In Vancouver West, Shaughnessy, South Granville and University had the lowest sales ratios at 5%, 7% and 7% respectively.
